What is OT?

OT helps children build skills necessary for participating successfully each and every day.

How can OT help?

OT identifies skills that are lagging and having an impact on a child’s participation. A plan of care is created to promote skill development through play and active participation in routine activities common for a child of similar age. On-going education and home programming is provided to the family and caregivers.

When is OT recommended?

OT is often recommended when a child is showing signs of difficulty or delay in physical, social, emotional, or cognitive development.
