Madison Rogan, MS, OTR/L
Madison Rogan pursued her passion of helping others throughout her collegiate studies obtaining her Masters in Science in Occupational Therapy, and acquiring her board certification, followed by licensure in North Carolina.
Madison found her love for working with children at a young age when she began coaching swimming and continued to foster that love throughout her career development. She understands that every child is driven to engage in activities that are meaningful and uses their interests to help them reach their potential. Madison says, “the energy and excitement that comes with seeing a child master a skill or task that they’ve been struggling with, is something that brings me immense joy.”
Ms. Madison develops therapeutic relationships with the children she helps, and their caregivers, to find the best approach for meeting their specific needs. She is committed to maintaining ongoing collaboration to ensure the goals of the child and family are prioritized. She says, “when using a collaborative approach, I hope to meet the children where they are and help them find ways to achieve their goals.”
While completing her graduate studies rotation, Madison joined the IS team and began helping children through the use of skilled interventions under the mentorship of her clinical coordinator. As her time with the IS team came to an end, allowing for her to complete her studies, she knew she would be back! Ms. Madison says, “I saw firsthand how the staff at Integration Station is a close knit group that values teamwork and collaboration in the interest of the children they help. I’m looking forward to rejoining the team and eager to be a part of such a motivated group.”
In her spare time, Ms. Madison enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also likes to spend time playing with her cat- Felix, training for the next running race, and finding new areas in Charlotte the explore.
