Kassie pursued her Bachelor’s of Science with a Concentration in Occupational Therapy followed by the achievement of Masters of Occupational Therapy through Pfeiffer University Center of Health Sciences.

Kassie’s goal when helping her patients is to create a safe space that allows the child to express themselves. She brings creativity to each session in support of meeting the child and family’s goals. Kassie loves seeing the joy that exudes from a child and family when their hard work pays off and they accomplish their goals. She says, “knowing that I was a small part of their success, truly makes me so happy.”

“Being a part of the IS team brings a feeling of “home”, allowing me to make a positive impact and bring meaningful change to the families I help”, says Kassie.

Outside of work, Kassie spends time with her family and caring for her younger siblings, along with 3 PitBulls. She relaxes by reading books and coloring.
