Jackie Abidi, MS, OTR/L
Jackie spends her days doing what she loves most—working directly with patients in both clinic and school settings to provide client-centered care. As Lead Therapist, she not only pours into her own patients but also supports fellow therapists in growing their clinical skills. She’s a bridge-builder, fostering strong relationships with care providers to make sure every patient receives well-rounded support.
Armed with a psychology degree from the University of Georgia and a master’s in occupational therapy from Augusta University, Jackie is also an Autism Certified Specialist, a fieldwork clinical instructor, and a firm believer that “there is always more to learn!”
What excites her most about this work? Building lasting relationships with families and unlocking each child’s maximum potential. She’s motivated by creativity, continuous learning, and the chance to help others thrive.
At Integration Station, Jackie treasures the collaboration between coworkers and the social opportunities that sessions create for patients. One of her most meaningful moments came when a client included her in a book about how occupational therapy helped her grow into her own skin—a story Jackie will always carry with her.
When she’s not at work, you’ll probably find her outside, reading, traveling, or playing games with friends and family. Fun fact: she once went skydiving to celebrate her college graduation! She dreams of having the superpower of time travel (probably to squeeze in even more adventures).
Favorite travel spot? South Africa. Favorite book lately? Remarkably Bright Creatures. Coffee or tea? Neither! And her favorite motto: “Always find a reason to laugh.”
