Heather Brower, PCA
Heather is the friendly face behind the schedule at Integration Station, making sure patients have their appointments set and updated doctors’ orders ready to go. Her work keeps the clinic running smoothly, but her true motivation comes from the smiles and excitement she sees from clients each day.
With a background working alongside individuals with brain injuries, psychiatric illnesses, and both mental and physical disabilities, Heather brings a wealth of compassion and understanding to her role. She’s also a Certified Autism Specialist and firmly believes in her professional motto: “Always be kind to everyone.”
For Heather, the best part of working at Integration Station is when the kiddos stop by the admin office just to say hello. One of her most memorable moments was learning fingerspelling so she could communicate directly with a deaf and blind client—a perfect example of her dedication and creativity.
When she’s not at work, Heather enjoys a good cup of coffee, reading (Ghost Boy by Martin Pistorius is a recent favorite), and traveling—Vermont tops her list of destinations. She lives by the quote: “Be the reason someone smiles today”—and it’s clear she puts it into action every time she walks through the door.
