Morgan Gibson, OTD, OTR/L
Morgan wears two hats at Integration Station: helping her kiddos reach their goals and keeping the schedule in order for fieldwork students and volunteers. She’s all about teamwork, growth, and making sure every child—and every future therapist—has the support they need to shine.
With a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences and certification as an Autism Specialist, Morgan brings skill, heart, and a whole lot of energy to her work. Her favorite part? Watching those “lightbulb moments” when a child ties their shoes for the first time, writes their name, or discovers they can do something new. For Morgan, every small victory is a big reason to celebrate.
She was inspired to pursue OT thanks to her mom, a nurse, who first introduced her to the field. From shadowing PTs and OTs in undergrad to completing her doctoral capstone working with kids through an Animal Assisted Intervention Program, Morgan knew she had found her calling.
At Integration Station, she loves the team-centered environment and opportunities for collaboration. One memorable success story? Helping a client go from needing full support in quadruped to crawling and eventually walking with support—proof that “progress, not perfection” is more than just her favorite motto.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Morgan soaking up the sunshine at the beach, pool, or lake, reading a good book (The Women by Kristin Hannah is a recent favorite), or getting in a workout at the gym. Fun fact: she grew up in Florida, which explains why she’s a summer-loving, water-seeking soul.
Travel is high on her list—she’s already been wowed by Iceland and has plenty more destinations on her bucket list. At home, she shares life with three pets (Crouton, Flynn, and Henry), and if she had a superpower, it would be teleportation… because who wouldn’t want to skip airport lines?
Tea over coffee, teamwork over everything, and celebrating victories both big and small—Morgan is all about creating an encouraging, growth-filled environment for patients, families, and her team.
