Epiphany Stephens, MOT, OTR/L
Ms. Epiphany worked in Atlanta in the corporate, business world prior to pursuing her degree as an Occupational Therapist. During her time in Atlanta, Ms. Epiphany found herself missing genuine interactions, connections, and the ability to really help others. She explored various career paths and landed on occupational therapy.
Once she obtained her Masters in OT, Ms. Epiphany knew she wanted to work with children. Ms. Epiphany says, “Growing up with a learning disability, I always wanted to give back by empowering other children and promote their independence just as my teachers and supporters facilitated my successes.”
Ms. Epiphany treats children in the clinic, home, via telehealth, daycare, and schools. She is trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding, Sensory Processing Disorder, Trauma of Children and Adolescents, the Wilbarger Therapressure Program, Zones of Regulation, Executive Function, Handwriting Without Tears and is a Certified Autism Specialist.
Ms. Epiphany says, “I love being a part of the IS Team because of the close-knit environment. I get to watch the excitement on our kids and families faces as they become one-step closer to achieving their goals and this keeps me motivated to be a better OT.”
When Epiphany is not helping children achieve their best, she can be found laughing while performing with her local improv team, enjoying travel, spending time with family and friends, and flipping around on circus silks.
