Ashley Seibert, MS, OTR/L

Ashley Seibert graduated with her Bachelor of Science before pursuing her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Ashley soon after achieved her National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy and North Carolina OT License.

Ms. Ashley joined IS years ago as a new graduate, ready to start her career as a pediatric occupational therapist and has since blossomed into a well-rounded, compassionate, and skilled therapists. She demonstrates enthusiasm for every child she works with, cheering them on to achieve great milestones. Ms. Ashely says, “I am a witness to so many “firsts”, and I get to celebrate the little things (and big things) with families every day!”
Her commitment to the children and families she works with is what inspires Ms. Ashley to seek out the best interventions and the evidence that support their use. She believes that holistic approach is the best match for helping children experiencing developmental delays, feeding difficulties, social-emotional challenges, trauma, neurological and genetic disorders.

Ms. Ashley is certified in the Therapeutic Listening™ Program, is a Certified Autism Specialist, and specializes in the use of the Handwriting Without Tears program, Primitive Reflex Integration, NDT, various evidence-based sensory techniques, interventions for childhood trauma, feeding therapy, pediatric yoga for therapy, self-regulation strategies, and the Wilbarger Therapressure protocol. Ms. Ashley says, “When working with families and children I strive to use evidenced-based techniques and protocols while also being as family-systems and child-specific as possible.”

When miss Ashley is not at IS she has her hands full at home with two beautiful children, three fury friends, and luckily, a very supportive husband. When she can sneak it in, she enjoys cooking, yoga, reading, and always learning.
